A Sacred Journey Within
Something Is Missing
You've done everything right — studied hard, built a career, stayed connected with people who matter. And yet, there is a quieter voice that keeps asking: Is this it?
Maybe you've felt it in the stillness before sleep. A longing that success, relationships, or experiences haven't quite reached. A pull toward something more meaningful — more real.
You're not broken. You're not lost. You are simply beginning to hear the call of the heart — the deepest part of you that yearns not just for pleasure or achievement, but for love. For connection. For the Divine.
"Things can give pleasure to the mind and senses, but only love can give pleasure to the heart. And ultimately, that is what we are looking for."Radhanath Swami
An Introduction
The word Taste means to receive a glimpse; a living experience of something deeper than the mind can fully explain.
Bhakti means devotion: the awakening of the heart in loving service to the Divine.
Taste of Bhakti is a 15-day residential immersion at Govardhan Eco Village, created for individuals who feel a sincere calling to explore the path of devotion.
In the sacred atmosphere of the village, through mantra meditation, kirtan, seva, sacred teachings, temple worship and devotional community, participants are invited to enter a rhythm of life where every moment can become an offering.
Bhakti is not simply a philosophy to be studied. It is a way of seeing, a way of serving, a way of loving, and a way of remembering our eternal relationship with the Divine.
This program offers a gentle doorway into that experience.
Receive a living glimpse of devotion through mantra meditation, kirtan, temple worship, and sacred practices that awaken the heart.
Live for 15 days in the spiritually uplifting environment of Govardhan Eco Village, where every activity becomes an offering to the Divine.
Deepen your understanding through sacred teachings, seva (selfless service), and meaningful discussions that bring spiritual principles into daily life.
Build lasting spiritual relationships, discover your eternal connection with the Divine, and experience the joy of practicing devotion alongside like-minded seekers.
Who Can Join
Taste of Bhakti is for individuals who feel a sincere calling to explore bhakti not only as a philosophy, but as a living experience.
You feel drawn to devotion
You may not fully understand bhakti yet, but something in your heart feels called toward mantra, kirtan, prayer, service, sacred wisdom or a deeper relationship with the Divine.
You want to move from learning to living
You may have read books, watched talks, attended classes or explored different spiritual paths — but now you want to experience spiritual life through daily practice, community and sacred routine.
You are open to ashram-style living
You are willing to rise early, follow a daily schedule, eat sattvic vegetarian food, participate in seva, and enter a simpler rhythm of life.
You are looking for sincere spiritual association
You value being around people who are also trying to live with more purpose, humility, devotion and inner clarity.
You are willing to serve
You understand that bhakti is not only about receiving inspiration, but also about offering your time, energy and heart in service.
You are curious about Krishna bhakti
You may be new to the tradition or already familiar with it, but you are open to learning about mantra, kirtan, temple culture, devotional practices and the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita.
You are ready for inner reflection
You are willing to slow down, listen deeply, journal, ask meaningful questions, and observe what is moving within your heart.
You want a genuine spiritual immersion
You are not looking for a holiday or entertainment, but for a sacred space where you can practise, serve, learn, chant and reconnect with what is truly meaningful.
Not sure if this is for you? Reach out — we evaluate each application individually and welcome sincere seekers of all backgrounds.
You are looking for a luxury retreat
This is a devotional residential immersion in a sacred village setting. The focus is not comfort, pampering or escape, but practice, simplicity, service and inner growth.
You want a completely flexible schedule
The program follows a daily spiritual rhythm. Participants are expected to attend the main practices, sessions, seva and group activities.
You are only looking for tourism
Govardhan Eco Village is a beautiful place, but this program is not designed as a sightseeing trip. The purpose is immersion in bhakti, not casual travel.
You are not open to devotional practices
The program includes mantra meditation, kirtan, arati, temple culture, seva and teachings from the bhakti tradition. A respectful openness to these practices is essential.
You are uncomfortable with simple living
The experience may include shared spaces, early mornings, simple meals, modest accommodation and a quieter lifestyle than most people are used to.
You are not willing to participate in seva
Seva is a core part of the program. It is not just an optional activity, but a way to experience bhakti through service.
You are seeking only intellectual study
There will be teachings and discussions, but this program is not purely academic. It is designed to be experiential — through practice, service, chanting, reflection and community.
You are not ready to enter a group environment
This is a shared experience. Participants are expected to be respectful, cooperative, humble and mindful of the group atmosphere.
Core Program
Sadhana
Daily Spiritual Practice
A daily rhythm of mantra meditation, prayer, kirtan, sacred study and temple worship. Sadhana gives the heart a direction and brings the mind into a deeper atmosphere of remembrance.
Sravanam
Sacred Hearing
The practice of hearing sacred wisdom. Through the Bhagavad-gita, stories of saints and teachings on bhakti, participants receive knowledge not only as information, but as nourishment for the soul.
Sankirtan
Sacred Chanting
The joyful practice of chanting sacred names together. Through kirtan, mantra and devotional music, the heart is softened and awakened through the power of sacred sound.
Seva
Selfless Service
The practice of offering one's time, energy and abilities in service. Seva transforms ordinary action into devotion and helps us move from self-centeredness to loving contribution.
Sadhu Sanga
Spiritual Association
The association of sincere spiritual practitioners. In the company of devotees, spiritual life becomes natural, supported and joyful. Community becomes a sacred mirror for growth.
Simplicity
Sacred Living
Living with less, but feeling more connected. Through sattvic food, shared living, nature, early mornings and a devotional routine, participants experience a life centred around what is truly essential.
Smaranam
Remembrance
The practice of remembrance — bringing the Divine into the heart throughout the day. Through chanting, service, reflection and prayer, participants are invited to remember Krishna not only in the temple, but in every moment of life.
Your Journey
Each day is a carefully designed blend of sadhana, learning, and service — creating the conditions for deep inner transformation.
